Swallow the bitter kola

The smallest action is much greater than the biggest intention

"Emma, now swallow it!" said grandma. I spent my Easter holiday in the village. Unknown before my arrival, Grandma had got baskets, I mean baskets of Orogbo(Bitter Kola) from her visiting old friends. For those who have eaten it I'm sure the adjective 'Bitter' is not a mere addition because It's seriously bitter. I had to just eat it just to show some respect by obeying my Grandma. The next day i noticed i never felt the symptoms of Malaria disease which I had before the journey to the village and I never had throughout my stay.

That was just a prelude. We will be discussing "Procrastination". It's the act of delaying or postponing things. Not every thing is important. But some actually are.

The Good side
Like I said earlier not everything is important, procrastination gives us time to focus on other things, rest and it also gives us opportunity to avoid thinking. It can also help people whose decision and judgment are very important in order not to make wrong Verdict.

The Bad Side
They are many and outrageous. They include:
1 Zero punctuality:  This happens most of the time. Procrastinators most times miss deadlines. There by making them miss opportunities or be disqualified. Many homemakers who are not diligent or procrastinators become Very confused in times of emergency. It becomes really worse if they are also working or students. They most times end up becoming failures.

2 Time wasting:  Time is a costly and peculiar phenomenon . It can't be bought and it can't be sold. Due to procrastination, many people waste their time unnecessarily. They tend to postpone their activity, thinking that it can be accomplished after some time, but in reality that time will never come.

3 Disorganization: Many due to their late-hour approach eventually give important things the wrong or incomplete finishing. This is surely below your best. So it brings out the worse in you.

Handling it
Its a common axiom that "Experience is the best teacher", let's hear from some wonderful individuals courtesy Huffingtonposts.com:

Darren Rowse
Founder of Problogger
“The thing that has helped me the most is
designing my ideal weekly schedule. I used to
flip from one activity to another each day based
upon what I was feeling was urgent or what I
had energy for but realised that many times
that didn’t take me closer to my ultimate goals.
So I asked myself what activities I need to do
each week to get to my goals and designed a
weekly schedule around that. Now I have a
roadmap of what I need to do every day.
As a result procrastination is less of an issue
because I know what I’m doing. I also know
that these activities are directly related to
achieving my goals and so have more
motivation to get things done. As Stephen
Covey once wrote: ‘The key is not to prioritize
what’s on your schedule, but to schedule your
priorities’.”

I think it's enough. It's high time you made the NOW decision about your eternal life and salvation. Don't procrastinate. Believe in Jesus  Christ,  Confess Him as your Lord and be saved
