Psalms 97:10- Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.
You can see the word "evil" what's its connection with sin?? Meriam Webster's dictionary defines evil as morally reprehensive, sinful or wicked. I believe now you can see. Our Lord and Father's too Holy to behold sins. He doesn't like sin. No wonder Prophet Isaiah on beholding The glory of God felt totally filthy and unworthy to behold The glory.
So let us stop going over the basic teachings about Christ again and again. Let us go on instead and become mature in our understanding. Surely we don't need to start again with the fundamental importance of repenting from evil deeds and placing our
faith in God- Hebrews 6:1
This shows the urgent need for spiritual maturity. Matthew 5:48-Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
“He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been
healed.”
1 Peter 2:24
God desires us to be like Him, Yes you can through Jesus Christ.
Shalom!
