Why does God allow suffering??

Suffering , or pain in a broad sense, may be an experience of unpleasantness and aversion associated with the perception of harm or threat of harm in an individual. Suffering is the basic element that makes up the negative valence of affective phenomena .The opposite of suffering is pleasure , or happiness. - Wikipedia

Many are bothered on the causes of suffering. The major cause is SIN. People suffer from disease, affliction, bad luck and many unrighteous things. God doesn't encourage suffering. Exodus 2:23-25 Now it happened in the process of time that the king of Egypt died. Then the children of Israel groaned because of the bondage, and they cried out; and their cry came up to God because of the bondage. So God heard their groaning, and God remembered His covenant with Abraham, will Isaac and with Jacob. And God looked upon the children of Israel and God acknowledged them.

In the Old Testament, God sometimes withdrew His hands of protection from The Israelites because of their sins and they were afflicted by their foes and at times pestilence Until they repented.       2 Chronicles 7:14- if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my
face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

Healing means total deliverance, salvation and restoration.

1 John 4:8- Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.
1 Corinthians 13:4-5 Love suffers long and is kind; does not  envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up, does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil.

People suffer from the results of disobedience which is SIN. And automatically they become partakers of the curses meant for The Children of Disobedience. From Deuteronomy 28:15 you will see them and you will know why you suffer.

Glory to God Galatians 3:13- Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law
by becoming a curse for us, for it is written:"Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole."
All who are children of God by salvation through Jesus Christ His Son.

What most children of God face are trials. Trials of faith. A test of faith or temptation.
James 1:2-4
Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds
Because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.
4Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

1 Corinthians 10:13- No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.
