I have found that a dream mixed with confidence, determination, persistence and massive belief will grow into a reality. The
bigger the dream, the bigger the rewards. Martin Luther King Jr. had a dream. He was confident, determined, and persistent and he became great. Mary Mcleod Bethune had a dream. She wanted to start a college for black students who normally would not be able to attend college. She started the school in Daytona Beach, Florida, with six dollars to her name, but she was in possession of something more powerful :A DREAM. Today Bethune Cookman College is one of the great schools of higher education in America and Mary Mcleod Bethune is remembered as one of America's greatest women because she believed in her dream and had confidence, determination and persistence.
Jose Feliciano was born in Puerto Rico, he was born blind, in a time when blind people were told that they were not able to do anything but to get a silver cup and beg for money. But Jose refused to accept that idea because he had a dream, a big dream. Jose found an old piece of guitar and taught himself how to play. He practiced day and night, night and day and sometimes until his finger bled .Today, Jose Feliciano is one of the greatest musicians of our time. He wrote the song we sing every Christmas called "Feliz Navidad". What is your dream? ? Whatever it is, you can achieve it. ....
