Luke 10:30-35 - Then Jesus answered and said "A certain man went from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves who stripped him off his clothing, wounded him and departed leaving him half dead. Now by chance a certain priest came down that road. And when he saw him, he passed by on the other side, likewise a levite, when he arrived that place, came and looked and passed by on the other side. But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed came where he was. And when he saw him, he had compassion. So he went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine; he set him on his own animal, brought him to an Inn and took care of him. On the next day, when he departed, he took out two denarii, gave them to the innkeeper and said to him "Take care of him and whatever more you spend, when I come again, I will repay you"
Our world needs an outbreak of kindness. Ralph Waldo Emerson said "You cannot do a kindness too soon, for you never know how soon it will be too late".
Our world is hungry not for food alone, but for kindness. There are soo many rich miserable and lonely people. What makes life sweet is having someone to love and someone to love you. Everyone needs someone who cares, who listens and who understands. The greatest of all treasures is love. Kindness is love in action. A little act of kindness can change our world.
Kindness influences more than eloquence, and with kindness you do not need words to win people to your side. Most epidemics destroy, but just imagine what an outbreak of kindness will do to our world :
- Strangers will not be stranded
- Beggars will not be neglected
- Customers everywhere will be treated like kings
- Children will feel accepted
- Couples will bond together more
- Enemies will become friends
- Servants will gladly serve their masters
"I shall pass through this world but once,
Any good thing that I can do or any kindness that I can do to any human race,
Let me do it now and not defer it,
For I shall not pass through this world again"
Kindness put off until tomorrow can spell regret, but an outbreak of kindness can change our world and make it a better place. Let it start with you today. ......
I love you 😄
