Psalm 107:8- Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
Praise express warm approval or admiration of. express one's respect and gratitude towards God , especially in song. the offering of grateful homage in words or song, as an act of worship. All these is to honor God. He deserves it.
"You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being."
Revelation 4:11
Most of the time this comes after reflection. After meditating on the benefits you have received.
Intense praise can be seen sincere the time of Moses after They crossed The Red Sea triumphantly. And it was led by Miriam.
One of my friend what profession will remain eternal. It's The Praise industry because that's what we would be doing while living eternal life. The key to God's presence is praise and Thanksgiving which can also mean adoration.
Psalm 100:4- Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.
Little wonder The psalmist was very dear to God.
Adoration happens when You hold God in High esteem. Adoration is a sign of devotion to and worship of Jesus Christ.
It comes from within It's heart felt. It's professing publicly your love for Christ and The Beauty of God.
Why are all these necessary??
1 Samuel 2:30- "Therefore the LORD, the God of Israel, declares: 'I promised that members of your family would minister before me forever.' But now the LORD declares: 'Far be it from me! Those who honor me I will honor, but those who despise me will be disdained.
Since it's been stated that praise and worship honors God. God also respond nicely by honoring in Return. It's been noted that all who God honored became celebrities in their time. From Abraham, Joseph, Solomon, Daniel, Peter and many others.
2 Kings 3:15- But now bring me a musician. Then it happened, when the musician played, that the hand of the Lord came upon him.
From this story, The Kings of Judah and Israel met prophet Elisha because of the threat of the moabites. God fought for them.
How should I begin??
Receive the life of Jesus by surrendering all to Him. Through this you have the secured license to praise and adore infinitely.
Always remember to count your blessings by writing them down.
Shalom!
